Get Ready for Medicine
Ten years ago, Academic Summer Camps launched Get Ready for Medicine when very few providers were doing anything like it. Helen spotted the need early, and the programme has since helped countless students go on to study medicine or qualify as doctors.
Students get a genuine introduction to what medical education looks and feels like, including a real dissection — one of those experiences students talk about long after the summer is over. They leave with real life experience and the kind of confidence that only comes from having actually done something, not just read about it.
The first 2026 session runs from 28 June to 12 July and is already full. A second session from 12 July to 26 July is now open, so do not wait.

Get Ready for Entrepreneurship
This one is personal for Helen. “I started Academic Summer because I love business and I believe in people,” she says, and that spirit runs through every part of this programme.
Get Ready for Entrepreneurship is not about teaching students to follow business rules. It is about helping them think like leaders, back their own ideas and understand what it actually takes to build something meaningful. The next generation of business leaders is already out there. This programme helps them find their direction. The pathway course includes visits to the London Stock Exchange and the School of Management.
